Train Journey
Though it started as a Private Entrepreneurs initiative, the India Railways has come a long way of becoming one of the busiest rail networks in the world with over 25 lakh employees who manage this great corporation whose revenue touched more than 18 billion dollars in 2008.
The Train (Rail) journey has been a sheer pleasure for any Indians from the current and especially the past generation. No matter how many times you might have boarded a domestic flights, no matter how long can a train journey be, but the sights and sound it offers, the excitement it creates is a sheer pleasure to live every moment.
No wonder why it has been a great subject for many successful photographers. I am no exclusion for this temptation.
This was taken on my journey from Bangalore to Chennai via the Southern Railways zone.
